It's just a season I'm in. It's tough. It is tough and it is temporary.
The next day after my event June 17th, I started my second job. I had to find a second job because there weren't enough shifts on Amazon and I know that based off my conscious spending plan I'm utilizing 90% of my monthly income on fixed costs! If your fixed costs exceed 50-60% of your income you are barely making ends meet. So to see a change I created a plan but most importantly executed on the plan. This part time job will be 10-12 hour days both Saturday and Sunday. Meaning I now work 7 days a week 60 hours + for other peoples companies.
Why do I provide you that information? Because whatever the situation- once you have identified its something you can control you can do one of three things
- Complain about it.
- Be depressed about it
- or be about it and execute
Takes too much energy to just be stuck on complaining. Depression is exhausting and neither actually change the situation al all.
Me making a choice to change my finances required I work on someone else dream/vision. Which could mean I be pissed off or inspired. I choose to be inspired. To learn what I can while there. I will be exposed to different processes, operations, structure and information; vast possibilities. Plus it's just a season. I won't always be working 60+ hours on others businesses. I will one day be able to dedicate that same time and energy into Lush Vegan.
It is tough AND its temporary.
So lets do what needs to be done. Hydrate, sleep a lil, understand my goals are bigger than my fun weekends. Be grateful for the space to serve while learning.
Wash-rinse-repeat. It's temporary.
