Execute on the Vision

We always get to see the final product of an event and often never hear about the journey there. I recently experienced my very first chef tasting, for my first dinner experience (pop up restaurant). After speaking with several chefs, getting pricing, having discussions to determine if they were a good fit. I decided to try this particular chef because of how passionate she spoke about food. This wasn't just an opportunity for her to make money. It was a moment to demonstrate her love for the art and serve our guests.
Next, I had to plan on a mutual location, coordinate with some close friends and their schedule. Drive through rush hour traffic, maneuver limited parking and it was freezing. But we made it. All of that was just to get to the first step in the planning of the dinner.
Chef Mistee was exceptional in her presentation not only passionate but knowledgeable in her delivery/service. I can't wait for my guest to experience our first dinner pop up.
Sometimes we just have to make up in our mind to press thru the obstacles and embark on the journey. Along that way what we think is a one time encounter could be a long term relationship. You find out who believes in your vision as much as you do. You have a moment of realization from visually seeing and experiencing a step that's towards the vision. And it feels so much better than it just remaining a thought.
Whatever it is you want to do, just start. It doesn't have to be perfect or grand, but it does have to start.
