Commitment
Commitment. I firmly believe requires a large dose of discipline and several helpings of sacrifice. When I spoke of vision last week a key ingredient to attaining it is commitment. Don't miss something very important here, being committed to a vision. Because as human beings who often seek pleasure over nearly everything. We can be committed to the wrong relationship, the wrong job, environment, bad health, you name it. We become disciplined and conditioned to think we need that significant other in our lives, grow complacent, comfortable, and sacrifice the opportunity to live out or greatest potential.
Find your vision. Then be committed to that thing.
In my second interview, in CanvasRebel, I discuss how I am wholeheartedly committed to the vision. Because what would cost me more is living wishing I had, and never seeing that vision through.
We all pay a cost.
